Kainuu Cross -
Kainuun Risti - awarded to those that
participated in the fighting in the Suomussalmi, Kuhmo and Lieksa areas. |
Ladoga Medal -
Laatokan Mitali - awarded to members of the
Coastal Guards in Laatokka or to those that saw service with the 3rd Coastal Artillery. |

Lapland Cross for the Winter
War - Talvisodan Lapin Risti -
awarded to those that fought in Lapland. |
Western Karelia Isthmus Cross
- Länsi Kannaksen Risti - awarded to members
of the 4th Division who fought in the Winter War before 7 February 1940. |

Muolaa Cross
- Muolaan Risti - awarded to members of JR31,
later extended to include JR4-members. A first issue was made as a blue enamelled cross,
afterwards - as commemorative crosses became official - a ribbonned blue, later black
enamelled cross was adopted. |

Pitkäranta Cross -
Pitkärannan Risti - awarded to members of
the 4th Army Corps participating in the fighting in the Pitkäranta, Jänisjärvi,
Syskyjärvi, Uomaa, Käsnäselkä and Laatokka areas. |
Taipale Cross -
Taipaleen Risti - awarded to those that
participated in the fighting in Taipale. |

Summa Cross
- Summan Risti - awarded
to those that participated in the fighting in the Suokanta, Summankylä, Lähde and Merkki
areas before 14 February 1940. |

Kollaa Cross -
Kollaan Risti - awarded to those that fought
in the 12th Division in the Tshumeikka, Songerjärvi, Kollaa, Ahte, Ulismainen,
Saarijärvi, Uomaa or Siira area. |
Koivisto Cross -
Koiviston Risti - awarded to members of the
armed forces that participated in the fighting in Koivisto. |

Tolvajärvi Cross -
Tolvajärven Risti - awarded to those who
fought inthe Tolvajärvi, Aittojoki area. Recipients who fought, early in the Winter
War, in Ilomantsi receive a bar with that name. |
Middle Karelian Isthmus Cross
- Keski-Kannaksen Risti - awarded to members
of the 1st or 2nd Division of the Winter War army. Those serving with the 1st Division
received a helmet on the ribbon. |
